This is a blog about my stitching projects. People have commented that I am a fast stitcher, hence the title of the blog, but I do my fair share of frogging or reverse stitching. So here it is the highs and no doubt, the lows of being a stitcher!

Remembering
Poppies and cornflowers, the British and French flowers of remembrance, growing at The British and Commonwealth memorial comemorating the Missing of the First World War at Thiepval in France.
Just seeing these make me remember the Armistice Day services I have attended in Belgium and France usually in bitter cold and wet weather. We must never forget the sacrifices made and still being made.
Lovely thought and memory of those who sacrificed for freedom for all.
ReplyDeleteWe wear a poppy on Remembrance Day, And at eleven we stand and pray. Wreaths are put upon a grave, as we remember our soldiers brave.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture. This time of remembrance always brings a huge lump to my throat.
ReplyDeleteWe must not forget.
