Half way there or 48 more Algerian Eyelets to go! ...

... at least on Part 2 of White Nights in St Petersburg.

Here is a progress pic.

White Nights in St Petersburg
Each of the corner sets of tiles is taking just under an evening so with a bit of luck I should be able to add the beads on Friday. Well that's the plan, I will let you know my progress.

Simply Summer came back from framing this week. I am really pleased with how it looks. The frame is the bespoke one for this design from Poppy Kreations.

Two finishes and a start

So back to the stitching. Last Wednesday I finished the May calendar, all it needs now is blocking and stretching, tomorrow's job.

As this was finished early I went on to the next project in the rotation, 'Simply Summer' from Waxing Moon Designs and finished that too!

This gives me a 'free week' on the rotation so I have started 'When Barnabee Met Bella' from Just Nan.

Stash expansion

Look what arrived today.

I've had a bit of a spending spree on Just Nan charts and embellishment packs; Floral Fifteen and all three parts of Barnabee's Quest, to go with When Barnabee Met Bella already in the stash. That's what the lilac linen is for and the antique white just comes in handy! The lilac linen is such a nice colour I'm also going to do The Purple Thread's biscornu on that using the left over silks from the Spring Arbor.

Here is the progress so far this week on Simply Summer.

I have made one modification replacing the American flag on the bird house with the flag of St George, still, at the moment, needing it's red cross.
