Back to the rotation, and it's ...

... the July Calendar from Mill Hill.

I've only been stitching on this for two evenings and it is almost done. Of all of the 2003 Mill Hill Calendar Series I have done so far this picture is the least inspiring and has the least amount of work. Here it is.

July Calendar
Yesterday whilst in blogland I came across a new SAL. The Mary Wigham SAL from Needleprint. Now the only Quaker I have stitched is the pin-cube from stitch-creations so this will be a first for me. However, I have seen lots of posts about the Beatrix Potter SAL and everyone involved in that project seems to be enjoying it so I'm off to choose my fabric and floss! This is what the original looks like.

I see what you mean about July. I hope August is more challenging. The sampler looks great. I am sure you will enjoy doing it. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Oh I do look forward to seeing your sampler! I just saw that one the other day too. Can't wait to see it stitch up around the world. :)

Cripes that looks like more of a challenge. Speaking of which I've tagged you in a fun game on my blog, hop over if you want to play along.

Wow the year@s nearly half over already. Looking good-hope it's a sign of better weather for the long summer! Good luck with the Quaker piece. I wouldn't attempt it because I'm too much of a coward. I've got as far as purchasing the material for the Papillion designs SAL no colours yet though, I just can't decide on them. Watching out for your Santa Skirt progress Happy stitching.

It's looking really good.

I've never sewn with beads. Are they fiddly?
